New project: Space Wolves

My Alpha Legion army is so far away from finishing. As for today, I have got only one squad which is fully ready, and I have got two squads that are half-ready. I really fond of my alphas painting scheme. But some time ago, I realized that it is a little bit boring. I think it is so, because I use only 2-3 paints. That’s why I decided to start something new. I thought about new alpha legion scheme, then about new legion, and then about new army.
Some time later I found in my box of bits space wolf squad. Firstly, I thought of making a wolf army of chaos. Then I changed my mind and decided to paint them in their classic painting scheme.

Why space wolves?
1) awesome bits;
2) a lot of unique characters;
3) good-looking painting scheme;
4) amazing codex;
5) a lot of variants of army organization.

Alpha Legion: Berserkers (Part 1)

Finally, I finished four of my berserkers.

It takes me a lot of time to paint them. And some poses are quite silly. It is so because of their bits, they're ancient. Nevertheless, here are some photos.
