Miniatures for Dark Heresy Game (Part 7)

This is the last part of the project, and it ends on mine 10 cultists of Nurgle.
They were taken from a Dark Vengense box and I like that they were simple in gluing, have a good detalization and interesting look.

I painted them in dirty green and olive colors, with dirt and rust on the metal details.

These 3 miniatures are my favorite

Also, like two right cultists. It was interesting to paint guns and the skin on them.

And the last 3 miniatures.
One of it is from another 10 cultists set, so there are two clones in the pack)

Thanks for watching,
Cristina

Miniatures for Dark Heresy Game (Part 6)

This time I would like to present some photos of miniatures for Nurgle formation for Dark Heresy game. It is going to be a little post, as there are only two models that I will show: Chaos Ogryn and Daemon. I painted them fast using primitive techniques, nevertheless I like the result of my work.

Chaos Ogryn

He was painted mostly using drybrush technique and different inks. On this miniature, I tried to paint rust on metal parts. I like this miniature, it has really nice detalization.

Daemon

It wasn't bought by me, that's why I dont know from where this miniature is. There was a little problem with this model. The problem was about his paws. Two of them didn't fit him. So it took some time to fix his paws. But this daemon is really funny. It was exciting to paint him. I like satined parts that were covered by glossy varnish.
Next post is going to be about chaos cultists painted by Cristina.

Miniatures for Dark Heresy Game (Part 5)

I've just finished 5th part of photos of Dark Heresy miniatures and here they are.
The first one is the Chaos Lord of the Death Guard. I don't like this miniature and didn't like to work with it. It was made from bad plastic, that's why paint was falling off.

The second are 3 Plague Marines. It was a fast table-top painting, just for one night.

I modified usual chaos marines with the epoxy putty, changed arms, legs, shoulders: did some outgrowths, tumors sores and pimples. It was very exciting and interesting, that I took the one of the best-modified marines to myself, and did another one as a replacement, which is now on the photo.

It was a big pleasure to paint this trio. I especially liked to work on dirt, rust and guts. The last were covered with glossy varnish. It's my favorite part of work, when You can gloss something.

And of course I like Death Guard very much, its color scheme, and I was very happy to have possibility to paint them.

Thanks for watching,
Cristina

Death Guard: Helbrute

Today I received photos of the miniature that I have painted about a month ago. I showed little teaser of it in one of the previous posts. And the miniature is Helbrute. I painted it for Death Guard army.
He was started in autumn. I decided to spend a lot of time on him, to paint in style, which I like. For now, it is one of the biggest miniature in my collection. This miniature is awesome, it looks really ferocious. Moreover, there are a lot of options for hands. GW made great job with new miniatures.

I tried to add as much colors as possible to make him more interesting. The miniature is so good that it doesn't need any conversions or modifications. I only added some purulent ulcer using the green stuff.
And now I am painting Space Wolves Marines, I will show some WIPs later.

Death Guard: Typhus

I received last part of photos. It is Typhus for my Death Guard army. I painted him some time ago. I really like this miniature, it is so cool. There are a lot of different little details on this miniature, such as cracks, scratches, wires, chain-mail, nurglings and other. And this is the reason why it took me a lot of time to paint him. It was interesting. But Typhus miniature is too old that's why he is smaller than usual terminators.

And WIP photos
1) Unpainted miniature

 2) Unpainted base

3) Washed basic green

4) Basic colors

5) I didn't like some painted parts that's why I repainted them

Hope you like my Typhus.
