Death Guard: Tactical squad (Part 2) Finished

I received another part of the photos. Earlier I showed 4 plague marines, now I want to show 6 remaining. Yes, I decided to make a squad, which consists of 10 marines. For this purpose, I made three extra plague bodies using a green stuff.

This time I want to start with the photo of full squad.

Now the photos of last six painted miniatures:

And closer photos of single miniatures

Cristina helped me to make some parts look glossy.

And some WIP photos:

To sculpt these bodies, I used guide that I found here. It is very useful and easy. I tried to make miniatures more creative by adding skulls, heads and other small parts.
I am completely satisfied with the result, however it took me a lot of time to paint this squad. And I want to continue working with miniatures of my Death Guard. Next post is going to be about Alpha Legion agents.

New author of this blog

Good time to everyone, my name is Cristina, 21 years old.
I'm Platon’s girlfriend, and I’m trying to support him in his hobbies and ideas.

If to speak about me, I’m a student of architectural institute and a hobbyist. But my main hobby is bjd.

(Face up of my doll, my sculpting, me with a doll of my friend, face up of my doll)

I’m found of this for about 4 years, and this hobby gave me a lot.
I'm painting bjd face ups and sometimes open commissions on it. Оoccasionally I try to sculpt a head with the face, which I will really like.
(My sculpting, commissions of: face up, arms, tattoo. Old enough works.)

So in fact, I can paint, draw, mold, do modifications, work with airbrush. I know a lot about silicone (had a degassed), urethane (had some experience in casting by multicast), plastics and can work with putty like milliput, greenstuf, epoxy and so one. Can work with abrasives and have a Dremel, which was a present for my birth day. It helps me with different modifications and putting magnets to miniatures. Bc of my profession I can work in 3ds max, revit, archicad and started working in maya and mudbox.
Hope one day to print smth interesting for WH40k or to sculpt it using Cx5.
(Some simple works from institute. That's how I trained the hand to do small things.)

I really like WH40k as a hobby, and I’m glad that in these 4 years it become much more classy.

For now I’m working on a Riptide. (Will write about this a separate post) ( A present for Platon’s best friend)
I’m helping Platon with priming, varnishing by Vallejo, putting magnets, painting with airbrush and doing photos. Some days ago, I draw logo for the blogs photos. Hope, it looks good.

And another thing: We started a World Eaters army, so there will be miniatures, which we'll paint together.

Hope for a warm welcome)

Truly Yours,
Cristina
